"Although the weather was a little gloomy, temperature was great for the hike. These photos are of the portion between Praia Bonete and Lagoinha. Amazing scenery and views. Highly recommend!"

"This 7 beaches trail hike was most definitely the highlight of my trip to Brazil. I went to Rio, Ilha Grande, Sao Paolo, Paraty but Ubatuba (where the trail is) was a great addition to my itinerary and most definitely a beautiful surprise. I strongly suggest to have a guide as I am personally not a fan of "organized activities" when I travel but I did not regret having a guide for this one. He was so knowledgable and thought me a lot about the jungle and Brazil. As for the trail/hike itself, make sure to have some good shoes on, sunscreen and bug spray. I consider it a medium hike as it is not super hard but I most definitely was challenged a few times. Be careful as there are some snakes and iguanas (iguanas are fine but snakes, hell no haha). Be safe and enjoy"

"I did it halfway, it was pretty nice. It looks like someone has recently cut a lot of the foliage so it wasn't a typical overgrown Brazilian trail..."

For Different Travelers
Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
Opting for a guide can significantly enhance safety and engagement for children, as they can point out interesting flora and fauna. Beaches like Praia do Cedro, with its calm, clear waters, are great for younger ones to play in. Remember that the full 10km hike might be too demanding for very young children, so assess your family's fitness levels and consider a partial hike.
💰 Budget Travelers
Consider staying in hostels or budget guesthouses in Ubatuba. If you're looking to save on a guide, try to connect with other travelers who might be forming a group, as guides often charge per group rather than per person. However, weigh the cost savings against the safety and knowledge benefits a guide provides.
💑 Couples & Adventure Seekers
Pack a special picnic to enjoy on one of the more secluded beaches for a romantic lunch. The opportunity for snorkeling at Praia do Cedro adds an element of shared discovery. The moderate difficulty ensures a rewarding physical challenge without being overly exhausting, leaving you with energy to enjoy the stunning scenery and each other's company.
