"This was a wonderful experience, not to be missed. Google Maps shows this as an island, but actually, this National Park is submerged. We booked the 4-hour excursion through an agency, and it included the boat ride, water and a light lunch, and snorkel-mask-footwear rental. The water was warm and it had a turquoise color; it was shallow, and not necessary to know how to swim. Gracefully floating on the water and breathing through the snorkel, gazing through your mask you observe a fairy-tale environment of colored coral and seaweed as you glide past. A guide describes (in Portuguese) highlights at first, and then glide through the brightly-colored environment filled with colorful fish like you might see in aquariums, and sea urchins, at your own pace. A highlight of my trip."
