"Visiting from Canada. Beautiful place. No doubt about it. Too bad that the local authorities don’t seem to care about the place at all.
My two cents: The people living in the neighbourhood should take action and show to the Mayor how it should be properly done."

"One of the most visited squares visited by local families in Belem, Praça Batista Campos carries history and tradition. It's a block near downtown Belem filled up with gorgeous mango trees and Belle Epoque style architecture. Unfortunately, it's has become unsafe to be there at regular times. Visit it when festivities are occurring or during rush hour when locals use it as space for workouts."

"Praça Batista Campos is a beautiful park in Belém which seems to be crowded with people both day and night. There are lots of bridges over the canals, beautiful trees, vendors selling popcorn and coconuts and people of all ages. There are plenty of benches to sit down, and in the middle there's a gorgeous gazebo. Lots of people are here playing with their kids, walking their dogs or exercising. It's a nice safe place to be outside even after dark."
