"Little beach with excellent place to drink!"

"Translated as “Little Hawaii,” as many have said, this is a really special little beach. We came late afternoon and parked along the BR001. Use extreme caution parking and crossing because there is a dangerous curve. A bus came speeding toward us as we crossed which was scary.
The hike down to the beach was easy and very scenic. Stay to the right at the fork in the trail to reach Havaízinho.
At the beach there are two or three different ‘restaurants’ with rickety tables that offer some shade. Service was relaxed with nobody pushing us to go to their establishment. We had a delicious moqueca dish for seven people and the price was crazy cheap by North American standards.
Waves crashed big out in the ocean but the protection of this cove made it such that kids could wade out quite a ways and still be fine. We will be back before our trip here is over."

"Beautiful place close to Itacaré. A few kiosks to serve you food and beverages. To get there you have more less 10’ walk, in an easy track. The sea is beautiful and good to swim."

The Enchanting Jungle Trail
Pay attention to the trail markers, as there's a fork. Staying to the right will lead you directly to Havaizinho, while the left path guides you towards Praia da Engenhoca. The anticipation builds with every step, making the reveal of the beach even more rewarding. Many travelers find this hike to be a highlight, appreciating the natural beauty and the sense of discovery.
Pro-tip: Some visitors recommend downloading offline maps of the area, as cell service can be unreliable within the dense foliage. This ensures you can navigate the trail with confidence and enjoy the journey without worry.
Beachside Bites and Relaxation
The main draw of Havaizinho is its protected cove, which creates calmer waters compared to the open ocean. This makes it an ideal spot for families and less confident swimmers to wade and enjoy the sea safely. The contrast between the gentle waves in the cove and the larger swells further out is quite striking.
While the service is described as 'relaxed,' it's never pushy, allowing visitors to fully unwind. It's the perfect place to spend an afternoon, enjoying a delicious meal with your feet practically in the sand, listening to the soothing sounds of the waves.
