Reviews Summary

Praia de Antunes is overwhelmingly praised as a breathtakingly beautiful beach, often dubbed the 'Brazilian Caribbean' for its clear turquoise waters and stunning sandbanks. Visitors highlight its warm, shallow sea and photogenic palm trees as major draws. However, some find it can feel like a 'tourist trap' with associated costs, and crowds can detract from the experience during peak times.

"Gorgeous place!
This is one of the most beautiful beaches I visited in my entire life.
I highly recommend it."

João Guerreiro

"Amazing as usual.... quiet place, beach is simple the best, warm, shallow and beautiful"

Jean Ferreira

"It is recommended to take a blabla from Recife! Returning will be difficult unless you choose rides with at least 2 confirmed passengers. I had my reservation canceled at least 6 times. I stayed a night in maragogi and spent an afternoon in porto galinhas. Both cities have cheap hostel rates. There are small vans that go to the further beaches, and they pass very often (5 to 7 reais). I suggest to stop to the first beach (grande or antonin) and working your way to the center."
