What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the unique experience of witnessing the sunrise from Pico da Bandeira and the refreshing beauty of Vale Encantado's clear waters. The park's excellent maintenance and well-marked trails are frequently praised, making it a highly recommended destination for nature lovers and adventurers.
"Bandeira was, up to at least 1962, thought to be Brazil's highest peak. Now we know it is about 100 meters lower than the actual highest, but it remains a classic. Great for hiking and for introducing younglings to mountaineering, with no technical demands and astonishing sights. Do hike the peak at night for the spectacular sunrise. Totally worth it. I've just revisited it, now with my two teens. Fifth time and it never gets boring."
