What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Parque dos Manguezais is praised for its beautiful mangrove scenery and excellent biking trails, offering a refreshing natural escape within the city. However, some visitors note that access can be challenging, with certain entry points being less developed and potentially unsafe. The park is a great spot for cycling enthusiasts and nature lovers.
"I entered the park from the north side, via Ilha de Deus and it doesn't seem to be accessible from that direction. There are some very nice views of the city from the bridge to Ilha de Deus, but also there is a lot of trash and people seemingly living in poverty. The path that is there on openstreetmaps is not really traversible at it seems to go through people's property and seems dangerous. Would not recommend this north access route."
