"A great place for weekend break. Just one hour away from Caxias do Sul, and you can find yourselves at the Cascades Park ( or a park of the Waterfalls). There is not a big waterfall, but very peaceful place for having rest, getting tan, doing BBQ and drinking mate tea. Attention: you can have a lot of activities here, starting from having a dinner at a restaurant, then spending time playing an American pool at the big entertainment room, then you have a natural pool made in the river, then you can come with tants and pick a place at the camping, a beach volleyball , actually with a sand, a small football pitch, playing the beach game bocha, and last but not least the swimming pool outdoor and indoor ( for additional payment, but it is very worth it). Also for additional payment you can stay overnight in nicely equipped wooden houses. The area with BBQ is so big, so you can find a spot close to river or down in the forest. There are trails for hiking.
Definitely it will be included in my TOP places in Rio Grande do Sul.
Admission ticket for adult costs 20 BRL, swimming pool 15 BRL per person, overnight stay from 300 BRL per couple.
Facilities: 5 ( all above-mentioned)
Staff: 5 ( everyone is very polite and smiled)
Service: 5. On every step you are being well- informed about facilities, provided with the service, cleaning guy is working all the time keeping an eye on the garbage bins etc.
Restaurant: coffee and service were on 5. There are comfortable sitting places, and also sockets and USB plugs at every table, so you can charge your phone easily.
Atmosphere: 5. Very family friendly. Accessible to people with disabilities at the reception and restaurant.
Cleanless: 5. There was super clean evetywhere.
Food: we made our BBQ, so I can't evaluate here."
