"A nice market to buy local produce and traditional ingredients. The seafood was fresh and there was a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. There’s also a food court selling traditional Nordeste dishes which the locals claim to be good (although we didn’t try it). The vendors were very friendly, let you sample products, share knowledge of the ingredients but don’t pressure you to buy. There’s also stores to buy Brazilian coffee, alcohol and wines. Overall, nice shopping experience."

"An excellent place to buy local market items. The fresh fruits and legumes are second to none here. Food Court was high quality. The cleanliness was superb. There are many wonderful surprises here. Buy your cashew and other local food products here. Not just for the price and quality, but to keep a good thing going. Would love to return here soon."

"One of the popular markets in Salvador. Organized, clean, safe and with lots of options including groceries, drinks and even a pet shop. There are some exclusive restaurants as the German one that are rarely seen in this city. It's definitely worth a visit and you'll surely gonna grab at least some fast snack."
