A Vila é frente ao Rio de Janeiro e pode ser vista da Ponte Rio-Niterói. Alguns moradores trabalha com passeios de barco em quase toda a Baía por um preço barato. Eles fecham um grupo e saem por horas, retornando depois.
A maioria dos moradores são pescadores, outros trabalham no mercado de peixe São Pedro e outros são vendedores no Centro de Niterói. O local conta com pequenos bares e uma capela, a vila, em sua maior parte é residencial.
