What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Jockey Club Brasileiro for its free entry, thrilling horse races, and stunning views of Rio, including Christ the Redeemer. It's seen as a unique and accessible attraction. However, some special events can have hidden costs or require separate tickets for certain areas, and food/drink prices can be high.
"Arena Jockey is so comfortable and spacious that it could host a wild samba concert by Diogo Nogueira without breaking any legs! There's plenty of room to dance between the tables, which is important—because those tables are definitely too small to samba on. The ventilation keeps things fresh, and the setup is safe enough that you can let loose without a worry. It's like the perfect blend of samba energy and chill vibes!"

"There was an event called the village in here which was a big festival of some sort. The place is huge and really nice with different activities, food and drinks. The main issue is that we weren't told about the fact that everything stops around 10:30 and everyone has to move to a big inside tent for which separate tickets have to be bought!
We paid 35 euros for our ticket which does not even include drinks and only were able to enjoy the place for 1hrs and 30min.
So be careful about your tickets if you do want to go there."

"The Jockey Club Brasileiro was a staging point for our group for viewing of the last night of Carnival 🎡 at the stadium 🏟️. We were placed on buses 🚌 then transported to the stadium 🏟️ section."
