A Capela do Bom Jesus da Pobreza, ou Bom Jesus Agonizante, marca o Largo das Forras. Fica entre bares e restaurantes e dá certo ar colonial à Praça. A história da igreja é bastante incerta, devido à falta de documentos sobre a construção. Acredita-se que ela date da segunda metade do século XVIII e que a construção tenha ocorrido em pagamento a uma promessa do então Capitão-mor Gonçalo Joaquim de Barros. A igreja tem fachada simples, em estilo barroco-rococó, e o interior marcado pela imagem de um Jesus Cristo agonizante em meio a um altar de madeira com pinturas florais coloridas.
