Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the incredible panoramic views of La Paz and the surrounding Andes from the Muela del Diablo. The hike is generally considered a rewarding experience, with options for different fitness levels. Some find the trails tricky to navigate without a map, and the intense sun exposure requires preparation.

"Beautiful views from the top! Pleasant walk up from Cota Cota, or Pedregal (both have collectivos that go there) or can take a taxi to car park right at the base of the tooth to cut down the walking distance! Mild scramble to view points between the two points"

Mert Korkusuz

"Views are incredible. You can see most of the city. Good hiking trail."

Marcelo Urjel

"Great day hike from La Paz. The views of the surrounding area are amazing!! The hike is fairly easy starting from Pedregal and ending in Mallasa. On the way to Mallasa, you will face mostly downhill paths and a couple of times it can be tricky to know the correct path. My recommendation is to follow the path in Maps.me.

To get there, you can find a colectivo on the 6th of August avenue, it's written Los Pinos & Pedregal on the colectivo and it costs 2.60 Bolivianos.

Start the hike early in the morning because sun exposure is high in this hike, there are no shadows."
