"I visited the Centenary Farmers Market on a Monday around 3 PM. Most of the vendors were there, and the stalls were beautifully arranged, everything neat and spotless. The produce looked fresh, often pre-packed into bags — something I hadn’t really seen at other markets.

But despite the perfect presentation, the market felt strangely empty. There were hardly any shoppers, and it was missing that lively, buzzing vibe I usually associate with local markets. It’s definitely a beautiful place and worth seeing, but don’t expect a bustling atmosphere — at least not on a weekday afternoon."

"Beautiful and super clean farmers market located in the southern part of Thimpu. I've been to a lot of produce markets around Asia and never seen one this modern and well presented. In fact we dont even have anything like this in Australia. I went at about 4pm in the afternoon and there was still a lot of activity. All the stall holders take a lot of pride in the presentation of their produce. All the fruit and vegetables looked super fresh. If I was a local, this is where I would be doing my daily food shop for dinner."
