What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Wang Chu Riverside Promenade for its stunning natural beauty, clear waters, and peaceful ambiance. It's highlighted as a perfect spot to break a journey and enjoy the serene mountain river landscape. Some note the extreme cold of the water, advising caution.
"This place came on our way to Paro from Phuntsholing. Two rivers - Paro Chhu and Thimpu Chhu join and becomes Wang Chhu (Chhu means river in Bhutanese). Its on the bank of this Wang river, where we got down at a place where the road was very close to the river. One can easily walk down. There are lots of pebbles, you may collect few if you want. Since the travel time from P'sholing to Paro is not much, you should break your journey here, relax, enjoy the crystal clear water of Wang. There are couple of houses on the other bank of the river."
