"It is a spacious park located along the banks of river Wangchu in the capital city. Inside the park there are flower gardens, trees and footpath along the banks of the river. There are small playgrounds for football and basketball. Small slides and swings for kids are also available. Throughout the park there are ample benches and canopies where people can take rest and enjoy the scenes around. I also spotted small stall selling few drinks and ice creams. The main point of attraction is the beautiful golden statue of the walking Buddha. The place is peaceful and good spot for relaxing and chilling out. It is perfect place to visit with friends and families with young kids. If you happen to visit this place, do pay visit to its nearby attractions like the national stadium of Bhutan and the Centenary farmers market.
