Visitors appreciate Victoria Park's convenient downtown location, ample shade, and well-maintained green spaces, making it a pleasant spot for relaxation and picnics. The park's historical significance and recent upgrades, including a new splash pad, add to its appeal. However, some guests have noted that the restrooms could be better maintained and wheelchair access is limited.
"Stopped by here on a walk around Hamilton. Loved the atmosphere and shade. It was significantly cooler than the pavement. Very nice that it is so close to the bus terminal. Unsure what the flowers were dropping from the trees but it was nice when they fell because they had some liquid that was cold/cool. PS: if you have a sweet tooth stop by Leslie’s!"

"This is very personal opinion, I like this place. Despite, that recently has a new inhabitant :-(.
Conveniently located in the heart of Hamilton, next to the bus station. Always keep immaculate (competent, hard working and very nice gardener!), benches and picnic tables, a bit of shade and open grass to practice sports or play. Public toilets. From time to time - great family (ex. Book festival) and neighborhood (ex. Seniors appreciation day or Ecumenical Way of the Cross) events. There is a drinking water fountain, not sure is working. Closed at sunset.
I am missing there, some kind of public, wooden playground or exercise equipment. Wheel chair entrance - only one side of the garden (hill side).
(I have better photos, can't find them at this moment '-)"

"Decent little park in the city. The vegetation looked well taken care of and the park was clean when we visited. Some of the benches seem close to the end of their life. Of particular interest was the memorial to those who died in the Great War and World War II. My daughter was less than impressed with the restrooms in the park."
