"Unforgettable Birthday with Raptors in Belize! 🦅
Visiting this raptor sanctuary in Belize in August 2024 was a highlight of my trip— Set in a stunning jungle setting, the sanctuary is home to rescued hawks, owls, falcons, and other amazing birds of prey.
I had the rare chance to hold, and feed, a raptor. Feeling a hawk land on my arm and locking eyes with an owl was absolutely surreal. The staff was welcoming, passionate, and full of fascinating information about each bird and their conservation work.
Every raptor had a story, and the care behind this place is truly inspiring. If you’re in Belize, this is a must-visit experience—one I’ll never forget!"

"Highly recommend the VIP tour! It cost $35 per adult and free for my 2 kids and I felt the experience was well worth it. The tour is supposed to be 90 minutes but definitely runs longer because there is a lot to learn and lots of birds to be shown. We were able to hold 2 birds and fly 1. This experience was one of my favorite things we did in San Ignacio and I was happy to support an incredible organization."

"I visited the Raptor Center today from 10:30 to 1pm. What an incredible experience!! Sarah has a heart of gold and her staff were lovely as well. Her conservation efforts have gone a long way but they always need help from people like you and I to spread the word. It was my first time at something like this and I was blown away by the knowledge. I even had some of the birds land on my leather gloved hand. Please visit Sarah and her team if you get the chance while you’re in San Ignacio. You will not regret it!!"
