What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Billy Barquedier National Park for its stunning natural beauty, particularly the refreshing waterfall and the rewarding panoramic views from the Jaguar Trail lookout. The challenging hike is a significant draw for adventurers, though its strenuous nature and the humid conditions are noted as potential difficulties. The park offers a more remote and immersive rainforest experience.
"Really enjoyed the park... it is well maintained given what I'm sure is a limited budget and where is located, but the scenery is beautiful. If you take the Jaguar trail up to the lookout, be prepared... It is brutal. It's a lot of elevation change for a short hike... and giving the location, hot and humid is a foregone conclusion."

"The most random but memorable stop. I was proposed to under the waterfall. I will never forget carefully making our way through the water and jumping off the rocks."
Stephanie Hambleton
"Stunning place! The waterfall is very beautiful and the water is nice to swim in.
The walk is a bit strenuous up and down hills, both ways, not great when you have asthma, so remember your inhaler and preferably use it before the hike, I forgot and it was a bit hard, but not impossible. It's not very easily accessible if you have problems moving, there are steps but the hills are pretty steep. But for those who don't have a problem moving it's a beautiful hike through the rainforest to the waterfall. I definitely recommend it!"
