While some find it less hilly than other hiking spots, its accessibility and varied flora are major draws. "A stunning forest spanning several hectares. Numerous marked trails for hiking, running, or biking.
It’s simply a beautiful place worth preserving.
Parking right next to it.
Easy to access."

"Not the biggest, and lacks the hills and trails for a hike, but absolutely the best choice for varied and beautiful walks through a forest.
There are trees imported from all over the world, multiple routes, some flat parts if you want to stop for a little but not so many that it feels like a park instead of a forest.
Genuinely the best forest in Belgium for a walk, very worth it. I also recommend visiting during autumn for that stunning green to orange gradient🍁.
PS. The photo with the number 10 shows an area with trees from South America. If you look closely you'll notice they have spiky leaves, they actually feel like cactus 🌵 or aloé Vera, strange but amazing.
PPS the white building is the famous African Museum of Brussels nearby, you can take the same photo from the beautiful park in front of it, or visit it, or even better, do both"

"Beautiful place with rich history. I attended a free guided tour on a Sunday, it was really informative and the guide really knew much about the place. Some places are muddy so wearing good hiking gear is recommended! It also gets quite windy and cold near the big tall trees so make sure to dress properly."
