What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Zoete Waters Oud-Heverlee for its beautiful, relaxing natural setting, ideal for peaceful walks and wildlife observation. The surrounding forests offer ample opportunities for hiking and enjoying nature. However, some find the dining options limited and the area can become crowded during peak times or events.
"Well, it is not easy to find a pond in Leuven. This might be a good one with birds and geese as well as ducks. I guess it would be the best time to visit when the sunset comes on an extremely sunny day."
Traffic Tse
"it should be a natural peat area/swamp with lots of birds..beautiful rich fauna and flora, between Heverleebos and Meerdaelwoud. It is not through human activity. Poor quality restaurants (except Het Spaans dak maybe which is located near a giant mushroom...a fly swallow in the man-made pond,. Noisy and a lot of through traffic from the Naamsesteenweg to the Waversebaan.. There is one light point..an old sympathetic pub, meet the locals, on the road to Sint Joris Weert: de Molen : the mill."
