"Flax doesn’t sound that interesting, but on a cold day in January we thought it could be a good way to keep warm. It was in fact one of the most interesting and well thought out museums I’ve been too and I learnt a great deal. The signs are in several languages, there are interactive screens, and the flow from ground floor (touch, feel, understand the product and how it’s used), first floor history and top floor treasures (examples), is very good indeed. You could spend many hours here and it’s great for kids as well as adults."
