"In August 2023 it's under renovation on the outside, but it didn't impact the visit inside at all. There are many paintings around, both on the walls and standing at man height, some sculptures and a massive organ where you would expect it to be. There was some choral music being played which helped creating an ambience, but the church lacked charm and seemed rather new. Some kind of explanation was totally missing as well. Would still go in if visiting Hasselt since there is no ticket/entrance fee."
