What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate St. Peter's Church for its role in hosting captivating photo exhibitions, particularly those by Michiel Hendryckx, and its charming exterior architecture. However, the lack of on-site restrooms and variable opening hours for nearby amenities are noted drawbacks.
"Until almost the end of November, Michiel Hendryckx's photo exhibition is on display at St. Peter's Church in De Panne, tram stop "Kerk" (Church). Admission is €5, and it's open daily from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The photos are displayed in large format and are available for purchase. A photo book is also available, but it shows a poor version of the beautiful photos, which I find a real shame.
There are also no restrooms. The nearby restaurant isn't always open. It would have been thoughtful of the organizers to have thought of that!
We see De Panne, the photographer's birthplace, through his eyes. And that's something to savor. So definitely go and have a look!"
