What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Travelers consistently praise Brussels beer and chocolate tours for their engaging guides, delicious tastings, and insightful historical context. The combination of expertly selected beers and artisanal chocolates, coupled with the guides' humor and knowledge, makes for a highly recommended experience. Some note that it involves a fair amount of walking and is geared more towards fun and flavor than a strict historical lecture.
"The meeting spot was easy to find. Mary and Julie gave us an overview of what was ahead. My biggest surprise was all the knowledge of Brussels that I learned. I think we saw every interesting thing in Brussels. We went to so many candy shops I lost count. They were all delicious and the process was explained in detail. Then the real fun began….I was thinking maybe a flight of beer but I was way off. We went to quite a few places and tasted full beers and some snacks too. All the beers and their histories were explained along with the pubs we were in. Mary and Julie made this trip. My husband and I don’t talk much to others when we go out but by the end of the tour the group of us were all in conversations and the guides were hilarious. I couldn’t recommend a tour more than this one. If you want fun and like to learn something about the city you are visiting, this should not be missed!!"

"This was my 2nd tour of Brussels and it was the best tour I’ve taken in any city. It was exceptional. We were a group of British ladies and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide Marie was charming, witty, friendly and full of knowledge. The chocolates were delicious - and the explanations were in-depth. The beer was plentiful (more than just a small tasting). The fries, bread and cheese/meat charcuterie board was an excellent way to help with the alcohol consumption. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Well done Hungry Mary and a special mention to our fantastic guide Marie 👏👏👏"

"Must do for 1 day visit - solo or with friends
100% best time spent for the money. You can book direct from hungry mary's site too to remove the % tripadvisor takes from the company. Clemons and Stephane were the best!!! Perfect for solo or with friends. Lots of beer you have never tasted, chocolates you never imagined existed and snacks and history along the way. Plus discounts on the shops at the end. I was here solo for 1 day and it was the perfect fill. It is the full 5 hours but you wont regret it. Not a ton of walking either. Highly recommend."
