What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Gomel Railway Station is a functional and well-maintained regional hub. Travelers appreciate its affordability, particularly the luggage storage, and the convenience of free WiFi and multilingual signs. While not a modern marvel, its solid architecture and historical atmosphere are noted positively.
"Gomel-Passazhirskij is a good regional railway station with all the necessary amenities for travelers. After arriving at Gomel Airport, we had a 4-hour wait for our train, but the station made our stay convenient and comfortable.
One of the best features was the affordable luggage storage - it cost less than 3 BYN per day, which allowed us to leave our bags and freely explore the city without dragging our suitcases around. The station itself was clean.
While it may not be a large or modern hub, it serves its purpose well for a regional stop. If you have a long layover like we did, take advantage of the luggage storage and take a walk around Gomel - it’s a great way to pass the time!"

"Multi language signs, good for tourists like me.
Found a "Waiting Room" for rent, perfect for a day tourist like me. As bonus the window was located so I could follow the trains at the station. The staff had a hotel service-minded attitude.
The internal environment is as usual in Belarus trainstations well maintained , the Lenin Statue is just fancy.
In general I enjoy to visit trainstations in eastern Europe, they are so full of architecture, it´s usually massive and solid in everything."
