What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the magical atmosphere and the sheer scale of the Wiener Eistraum, calling it a fairytale experience. The central location and festive vibes are major draws. However, some find the music selection unusual, and long queues can be a deterrent during peak times, especially if you're on a tight schedule.
"The ice cream was very flavorful and tasty. It has a variety of flavors. I had ordered hazelnut ice cream which turned out to be delicious. Something i was really surprised about as a messy eater was that it didn’t melt quickly showing how quality it is. I would definitely recommend for you to eat their ice cream if you are nearby however i definitely wouldn’t go out of my way just to try their ice cream (it isn’t that unique)."

"I came all the way from Canada to see the amazing „wiener eistraum“ I’ve heard to much about. I was there with my sick brother, it was his last wish to go ice skating with me he only had until 20:10 until his legs broke down and when we waited in line for a hour for our ticket, the lady said we have to 40 minutes to wait in another line to get our locker key. It was too late by then 😔"

For Different Travelers
Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
While skate rentals are available, bringing your own skates for the kids can save on costs. Ensure they have warm clothing, as it can get chilly. The availability of food and drinks on-site is also a plus for keeping little ones energized.
❤️ Couples & Romantic Evenings
Opt for a weeknight visit to enjoy a more intimate atmosphere. The 'dream paths' offer a more secluded experience, perfect for a quiet moment together. Grab a warm drink from one of the vendors and simply enjoy the magical ambiance.
💰 Budget Travelers
To keep costs down further, bring your own skates to avoid rental fees. Pack snacks and drinks from a local supermarket to enjoy instead of purchasing from on-site vendors. Remember that lockers require a deposit, so keep that in mind for your budget.
