What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests frequently praise the hotel's excellent location with easy access to public transport and the adjacent Prater Park. The gym is also noted as a positive amenity. However, some visitors have expressed disappointment with customer service, particularly regarding basic requests, and have experienced issues with room heating and noise from events.
"The location is the most redeeming feature due to easy access to transportation. Their gym is also decent for a hotel.
The rest of the experience was not great. Even as a gold star member. There was an event at the hotel, I am aware it is a conference centre. However when the music was playing on the first floor (we had a top floor room) the walls were slightly reverberating and the music was audible… when calling the front desk for ear plugs — the man was nearly insulted I’d even ask. Told me to ‘wait it out’ and perhaps turn on the TV. It was absurd, what hotel does not have ear plugs for their guests.
Additionally, we ordered food. We called down to ask for cutlery and they said they do not have anyone to bring items to rooms, so if I want things you have to come down to the restaurant and ask for it. Although I understand this is a first world problem, calling yourself a 4-star hotel and providing less than 2-star amenities is pathetic.
Lastly, I do not know what the deal is with their heating system. I don’t understand if it is centrally controlled. The room was 28 degrees inside and I thought we were going to melt. Yes it’s cold outside but that does not warrant extreme overheating the inside of the hotel. When calling down to the desk to inquire about why the dial doesn’t work — the question was evaded and dismissed. They offered to bring up a fan.
It was an unpleasant stay. I wouldn’t stay here again. The customer service was equivalent to a 2 star."

"After a long search, we found the best option
Visit: I went there for vacation with my spouse.
What stood out: Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, staff were responsive, you can watch the sun raise from your window.
Strengths: Location was close to the metro station so you don't need to rent a car, close to a grocery store and park, very safe area we walked at the middle of the night and we didn't face any issue. The staff made sure I got the high room I wanted
Weaknesses: The area can be very quiet at night, so you have to go somewhere if you want nightlife because it is located in a business district area and close to a university.
Verdict: Definitely worth booking again because of how safe and welcoming we felt."
