"Absolutely unacceptable behavior at the time of payment.
When I went to pay, the waiter (medium height, South Asian appearance) repeatedly pressured me to leave a tip on the card terminal. After I clearly said that I did not want to leave a tip, he took the card machine away from me twice and aggressively questioned why I was not tipping. This was uncomfortable, disrespectful, and completely inappropriate.
As if that were not enough, he finished by telling me that he would not give me a table the next day, which is an outrageous and unprofessional thing to say to a customer.
This makes the situation even worse because the waiter who served us the previous day (tall, blond) was excellent: polite, respectful, and provided great service without any pressure at all. The contrast in attitude could not be clearer.
Tipping is voluntary, not mandatory. Harassing customers, blocking payment, and making threats about future service is unacceptable in any restaurant. Because of this experience, we will not be returning."
