What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Albertina for its stunning Habsburg state rooms and impressive graphic collections, with many highlighting the breathtaking views from its terrace overlooking the Vienna State Opera. Some find the temporary exhibitions to be the main draw, while others feel the permanent collections could be more engaging compared to other Viennese museums.
"Visited Albertina museum this afternoon. What a treat to anyone who loves art. Top floor of Albertina museum hosts an amazing collection entitled From Monet To Picasso that is a home to many pieces by Monet, Renoir, Kandinsky, Kokoshka, and Picasso. Admission is reasonable: as of July 2025, children under 19 get in free, and my adult ticket was 19 euros. Audioguides are free for children and 5 euros for adults, those are available in all major languages. The museum building itself is absolutely georgeous."

"This is a great museum with famous colections, including some modern art. Small rooms, but spacious, seating benches, some parts include stairs, not crowded, but busy. We spent 2-3 hrs inside and It was worth it."

"My favourite museum, feels like you have visited 3 or more. You can get lost inside for hours... Magnificent interior, tons of famous pictures, beautifully arranged and curated. Definitely must visit while in Vienna! There's a great online "combo" ticket so you can explore this one and Albertina Modern. Not that the price is relevant for this experience..."
