"The caves are CLOSED! The path is closed as well. We walked around and we did not find a different path. We paid online , so hopefully they will give us our money back. It does not say anywhere , that it is closed"

"Very friendly staff. We actually had a private tour, because noone else queued up that time (14:30). Interesting experience, bring a jacket... it's very chilled inside 5°C"

"First of all, it was closed due to avalanche damage when I got there. I poked around a bit anyway, and it does seem to be a very cool cave. So when they reopen it (don't know when) I would definitely recommend a visit! The surrounding nature is also very worth hiking/biking through. There are really great trails that go very far through the alps in this area. The river is very beautiful. It is within walking distance along nice trails from the Dachsteinhöhle train station, or you can take the train directly there (one stop further). The restaurant nearby is really amazing but expensive."
