While some exhibits are German-only, the 'What the Fem*' exhibition provides bilingual content. Visitor experiences with staff are notably mixed, ranging from very friendly to quite cold.

"A nice historical building with a relatively small exhibition. Detailed information, delicate display and thoughtful setups. Went there on a Feiertag out of interests in the history of Linz city. It’s worth the time.

One missing star for the coldest receptionist I’ve ever met. No greetings when anyone walked in, and no responds to our “Wiedersehen”…there is no facial expressions other than a hateful staring out of a freezer, as if asking “why the hell are you here?” Wirklich lustig."

"Linz has much better museums than this one. It was a waist of time, also everything here is written in German."

"Interesting museum. Current exhibition What the Fem* translated into English, exhibition about Linz on the second floor only in German, but worth seeing. Possibility to store your backpack and jacket in the lockable lockers in the cloakroom, which is free."
