What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the spectacular panoramic views of Wörthersee and the surrounding Alps, calling the tower an impressive architectural feat. The thrilling indoor slide is a unique highlight, though it comes with an extra cost. While a fantastic 'see it once' destination, some find it lacks repeat visit appeal.
"Fabulous views of the surrounding area
An impressive structure made of wood and metal, which offers fabulous views of the surrounding area - a lake, mountains. The height of a 12-story building. A separate attraction is a descent along a metal pipe from a height of 52 meters - the highest in Europe. The pipe runs inside the tower. I highly recommend it."

"Really interesting free standing structure in the middle of the forest overlooking the lake with great views. Made entirely of wood from the region, it takes on this grey color which makes it pretty interesting. There is a slide that you can take from the top to the bottom. You can get to the top via elevator or by stairs. I do recommend taking the elevator as you can spend more time at the top to soak in the views and then slowly walk down. This is definitely not for those who are afraid of heights as it is completely open (but still safe - sufficient barriers)."

"Great panoramic view over Lake Wörthersee and the surroundings – definitely worth visiting once. Parking is easy, the tower is modern and clean. Perfect for photos and a short trip, but honestly, it’s a “see it once” kind of place – no real reason to come back again."
