What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Saggen Villa Quarter is highly praised as an amazing, student-oriented residence that prioritizes community and comfort over profit. Reviewers consistently highlight its excellent location, peaceful surroundings, and well-equipped facilities, making it one of the best student accommodations in Innsbruck. While primarily for students, its welcoming atmosphere and practical amenities are a significant draw.
"I was staying there for only one semester but I can say that this residence is absolutely amazing. They are so student oriented instead of profit oriented as in case of many other dormitories. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The rooms were in very good conditions, the common kitchen was so well equipped. Another advantage was the garden, where students can organise barbecue.
There was a vacuum cleaner available, laundry was quite cheap. For me a very important thing was skis storage. We could borrow sleds for free!
The location was perfect - very calm, quite and safe beautiful Sagen neighbourhood, but very close to the city centre (10 min walk).
So close to the Nordkette.
I wish all to be so lucky to get accommodation in this residence."

"Living in the Studentenwohnheim Saggen is really nice. The house is surrounded by beautiful trees and the neighbourhood is quiet and very green. It is very close to the centre and the university, a pharmacy and a supermarket. The student residence is a very bright house and the common areas are very well kept and always clean. In my opinion: one of the best student residence in Innsbruck!"

"This is 3 floors student dorm located in Saggen area, which is one of the best neighborhoods in Innsbruck. It has several types of rooms (Single & double) (with kitchen or not) with a range of prices.
It has a nice big backyard where you can have a BBQ. Also space to park cars (it must be reserved in advanced) & to park bikes.
Also, it offers 2 big kitchens for all the inhabitants. Also, there is a laundry room. Table tennis & foosball is there.
The staff is very friendly and the inhabitants are friendly and calm. There is a cleaning lady that cleans the corridors, kitchens & bathrooms daily.
The dorm is like 7 minutes walk from MCI or SoWi."
