What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Hohe Wand Nature Park Skywalk, highlighting its stunning panoramic views and family-friendly atmosphere. The interactive animal encounters and affordable pricing are major draws, though some note the challenging road leading up and limited parking. It's a highly recommended spot for a memorable day out in nature.
"We have been there twice so far and it's so good that we'll probably go again!
Great fun for kids and adults alike, and for a pretty decent price (5.5 adults, 2.5 children over 6).
There are so many adorable animals (sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, donkeys, ponies, ibices and a few more) and some of them you can get very close to, feed them and even pet them (or pick them up. But be ready for boring adults to call you "see, stupid adults exist as well").
There are some hiking trails. We took the shortest one (Schatzrund) which is not really a hike but mostly a walk in the park. There's a children's playground on the way.
In the playground, there's also a nice cinema (German only). It's free and runs a cartoon about ibices every 10 minutes.
After the playground, there's a slight uphill path to the view tower. The view is pretty amazing from the foot of the tower, and of course even more so from the top of the tower.
All in all, you can't get bored here. Also, don't miss the Sky walk nearby, included in the same ticket."
