"I can understand alot of people are struggling with the idea that you cannot really go inside but honestly as someone who's been inside it's mostly just nursing stuff. There are some stuff that's old and wooden but the beauty of this comes from the outside. This castle has a very interesting history behind it but now people need to accept it works as a medical area and not a museum. Its one of the most visit areas of gmunden without a doubt, especially since it only takes around 20 min from gmunden central to walk to. All I can say is that it looks absolutely stunning and weirdly alot bigger in person."
