"If you are staying in Ellmau with children this open air play park is well worth the day out. There is lots to occupy children of all ages and at lunchtime a very good restaurant catering to adults and children's tastes. Not at all busy when we visited in late September. Toilets here too for everyone.
Access by a long slog up on foot or take the cable car for a fun start to your day. You can always walk back down if you have the energy left. For grown ups there are paths leading out over the plateau in all directions and a good reflecting pool for photographs of the Wilder Kaiser."
