We had already been to Café Zauner eight years ago, but to the other one in the city center.
As it was then a wonderful experience, we absolutely had to try this one.
We had coffee, beer and cakes, of course, but the establishment also offers classic dishes, as it's also a restaurant.
The prices were a little high, as the quality was excellent, but still not at the same level than Café Demel or Café Central in Vienna.
Yet it was the Konditorei of choice for the Austrian emperors in the 19th and 20th century.
In short, we had a great time and highly recommend this place for the quality of its cakes, ice creams, coffee, and, of course, its splendid decor (take a look at the photos)."
