Magical, mystical, Long Pool 😍 This location really feels like a secluded fairy/mermaid realm 🧚🏻 It’s so dreamy and inviting. Long Pool is along the one way road, Lennard Drive, off of Falcon road that leads to Honeymoon Pool in Collie, about 2.5 hours south of Perth and well worth the drive! Definitely a lovely place to come and cool down a bit, or just relax and catch some morning rays whil...

📍Lennard River Rest Area Part 1/3 of free camps on the Gibb River Road. We came in late afternoon after a long drive from Broome (336km) and spent 2 nights here. Reviews Summary

Lennard Drive is a scenic route offering a mix of gentle drives and challenging 4x4 tracks, with beautiful riverside stops perfect for swimming and picnics. While enjoyable in dry conditions for most 4x4s, it transforms into a demanding adventure after rain, requiring experience and caution. Some visitors note disappointment with prohibited activities like motorbiking and camping in certain areas.

"As a novice 4wder, I was a little apprehensive having read the previous review. However, we negotiated the entire length in a stock Pajero with only one moment where the heart beat a little faster. The last steep section was taken at pace, but only as the track was dry. Wet conditions would be a different story. Some lovely views and riverside stops. It was disappointing to see some motorbikers camping on the track despite the comprehensive signage banning bikes and comping en route."

Giles Wilson

"Nice and easy with a few challenging bits. Any stock 4x4 should make it up with ease on road pressures. Make sure to stop by the river for a swim and some lunch too 😋"

Matt Smith

"Beautiful spot for swimming and if u r a risk taker like us why not give it a go 4WDriving all the way 😉"
