What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Nandroya Falls for its spectacular main waterfall and refreshing swimming hole, making the hike well worth the effort. While the trail is generally manageable, some find the constant downward slope and the presence of leeches to be minor drawbacks. Proper footwear is highly recommended to fully enjoy this natural gem.
"Enjoyable hike. A couple of smaller waterfalls along the circuit route as well the falls itself.
The trail has a constant downward bank angle/tilt which is slightly annoying.
Not sure if this can be improved by QLD Parks?"

"Incredible waterfall with a great swimming hole. Park at Henrietta Creek camping area and walk via the trail which takes you via Silver Falls. Keep going though - Nandroya is far more spectacular. Crocs/water shoes helpful for entry which can be a bit rocky but not completely necessary. Saw some little turtles in here swimming too, which was cool. Wear fully enclosed shoes on the bushwalk to get here - there are bugs and leeches!"

"Glad we had time to take the whole circuit - there were more falls along the way back and it was a nice walk. Access the trail from Henrietta Creek campground. There are no signs for the falls and we had no phone coverage on the road so it was a bit hard to find. There was a male cassowary with chicks - be aware and don’t provoke him.
Trail was well-maintained and mostly easy to follow. No leeches in late July."
