What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the up-close animal encounters, especially feeding kangaroos and holding koalas, calling it a highlight of their Western Australia trip. The park's relaxed atmosphere and accessibility for families are also frequently praised. However, some guests note that the park's facilities, particularly the toilets, and the quality of on-site food could be improved.
"Caversham Wildlife Park is a great place to see Australian animals up close. The kangaroos and koalas were definitely the highlight, and being able to interact with them was a special experience. However, the facilities could use improvement — the toilets weren’t well maintained, and the food inside was disappointing. Best to plan ahead for meals, but still worth visiting for the animal encounters."

"One of the well known places to visit in Western Australia. It is located in Whiteman Park, along with other spots, such as museums, and many more. There are plenty of attractions to see in this place, such as many different bird species, reptiles, farm animals, and many more. On top of that, there are plenty of entertainments amd attractions in the place available at certain times of the day, such as Meet the Koalas, Farm Show, and many more. You get the opportunity to meet and touch certain animals, such as taking a picture with the koalas and touch them, and also touching and feeding the kangaroos. Truly a different experience compared to a zoo, giving the opportunity to interact with the animals, definitely recommend visiting here!"

A very relaxed experience where you can wander the various animal pens at your own pace. Depending on the time of day you can can also take photos together with the animals near the gift shop area.
The kangaroos are super chill in their big outdoor space, and you can interact with them at your leisure.
The wildlife park is located fairly close to the city. Great for first time visitors to Aus. We went in winter (August) and there were no queues for tickets."
