"Really nice diversion and worth a visit. Great walks - take some water. Terrific views of the hinterland - pity about the rubbish being left behind however. Unsuitable walks for less mobile visitors - no toilet facilities."

"We walked the Apex Nature Trail and part of the Bimberdong Trail, two of the seven walking trails within the Reserve. We visited the Ningana, the Bintang, and Kalang lookouts. The last two providing excellent views over Wellington and the Bell and Macquarie rivers.
An enjoyable walk but unfortunately although early spring no wildflowers or fauna encountered. The trails we walked were moderate in grade though a little rough in places. Recommend hikers wear appropriate shoes and carry water."
