2025 was still great but we felt that our 'older' group were not well considered especially with a lack of tables and chairs on the 'green' ..food stalls blocking the entry to the straight...the incremental costs over the last 3 years have been noted..$40 entry for some on Public Holiday..mmm.added to a general 15% tax for food and drinks at many pubs and restaurants...the 'vibe' and excitement of this event is somewhat diminished..
Please note that generally older people are feeling somewhat forgotten when the bigger plans are made.This is a shame."

"2025 carnival was great fun with great atmosphere and is a must to experience and watch the main steeplechase on the Thursday from the top of the Hill. However, the racing club must consider the general paying public and position the food caravans so we can see the entire straight. We could not see the horses coming around the last bend into the straight. And the TAB Portable Caravan should be on the bottom lawn so people in the stand can see the race track. Where it was positioned this year was ridiculous."
