The park offers a serene escape into nature, with opportunities for adventure beyond the main attraction. Some visitors note that certain access roads might require a 4x4.
"The Walpole-Nornalup National Park is a protected coastal land and heavily forested area with giant Karri trees and unique Red Tingle trees found in the Walpole area. The NP is situated directly south of the Mount Frankland National Park and State Forest and around 30 minute drive west of Denmark.
Visitors can enjoy fishing, bushwalking and other outdoor leisure pursuits within the Park. However, the most popular activity is visiting the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk attraction, walking along a 40-metre high suspension bridge structures through the forest canopy, admiring the giant Karri and Tingle Trees from higher vantage points. We found this to be very enjoyable activity for around 90 minutes as part of our morning drive between Albany and Margaret River.
Would gladly return to experience this attraction again. With more time, it would be good to explore more of the tracks within the National Park as well."
