"Mount Hypipamee Crater is a must-see natural wonder! Our family loved the short, easy walk through stunning rainforest, which leads to an awe-inspiring volcanic crater. Standing at the edge and realising that the water depth is even greater than the visible height above was truly mind-blowing. The kids had fun finding small stones to gently toss in and watch the ripples echo across the still water. On the way back, we were treated to a hidden gem — one of the most beautiful trail waterfalls we've ever come across. A perfect mix of adventure, learning, and natural beauty all in one spot!"

"What a lovely tropical park, walk and amazing views this National Park has to offer.
On the road to or from Atherton this National Park is well signposted and just a short drive to the carpark.
There’s toilets, picnic tables and a reasonable amount of car parking to be had.
The views down to the crater makes you hold onto the railing, it’s a long way down!
The waterfall was flowing nicely and made for nice photos.
Well worth your time."

"This place is great heaps of parking bbq area 2 areas with tables plenty of grass area for picnics and ball games, lots of wildlife toilets are a little walk from seating and track. Track is not wheelchair or pram friendly, the walk itself can be tough as it’s a hike not a sealed walk track. It’s a medium walk down but a bit harder back up the hill the crater is amazing and has signage to explain how it occurred. Then you walk down to the waterfall’s which you can here as soon as you turn the corner from the crater. Lots to see and you can have a swim when you get there you may see wildlife it depends on the time you visit. I will be back as the serenity is amazing it really put me back in my happy place"
