"Beautiful beach with great markets. Fantastic sunsets"

"Loved this beach, although it is currently being tended to by the local municipality. It is a very lively spot for watching the sunset, and it can get especially busy on nights that the night market is open (Mindil Beach Night Market). It is well worth spending a few hours there at sunset taking it all in. Lovely views, and it is a place that seems to draw the crowds and bring people together. Bring a towel, blanket, or chairs to rest and enjoy the sunset. There are also some seashells around, and the sand is soft. The area is well kept and clean."

"Mindil beach market is a must see when visiting Darwin. Culturally diverse with everything from croc & buffalo pies to stuffed chicken wings, fresh calamari, crepes, terrific Indian at Dr Yummy & much more! Settle with your food & watch the sunset to the cool tunes from 1 of our first nation's buskers playing acoustic guitar as you dreamily watch yachts sail off into the sunset. Catch a camel ride along the beach if that's your thing. Later view some whip cracking courtesy of Mick's whips & browse the many market stalls with a plethora of things on offer. Family friendly & one of the best nights you'll have in Darwin. Guaranteed 🐊🤠🌴"
