Reviews Summary

Taralga Wildlife Park is lauded for its unique and heartwarming animal encounters, especially the chance to hold a wombat and feed kangaroos. Visitors appreciate the well-cared-for animals and friendly staff, making it a memorable experience for all ages. While some find the entry fee a bit high, most agree the intimate interactions and diverse wildlife make it well worth the visit.

"It was such a delightful afternoon. Our whole family got to hold wombats and take lots of photos, and all the animals were adorable. The peacocks kept showing off their feathers, and the parrots would say ‘hello’ to get little treats. The emus stole treats whenever they could, and the deer, lambs, and kangaroos were all very friendly. One thing I especially loved was that the animals’ treats were served in little waffle-cone shells — and the animals absolutely loved them."

Emma Huasheng

"Fantastic little wildlife park/farm.
Probably a little expensive at $25 entry for adults and $15 to hold a wombat but they are in the middle of nowhere and need to feed the animals so I can understand, plus where else can you hold a wombat!
So much to look at for a small place with animals you wouldn't even see at Taronga zoo.
My favourite was all the birds as they were so colourful, the white peacock and the Camels ☺️
I would definitely recommended if your in the area, we were coming back from a camping trip not too far from it.
Good for adults and kids and the staff were friendly and helpful"

Jessica Shellis

"Visited on a weekday during the end of school holiday. Not many visitors at that time. Was able to take our time hugging the adorable wombat which we had anticipate.

The park is well maintained, animals we’re well taken care of which they look lively in their respective pens/cage. Huge variety of animals. Overall value for money. Will be back again if there is a chance."
