"The little jetty is no good for fishing.,but it's a top spot for getting that perfect perth photo .the restaurant behind is the boatshed .very nice food with the most unobstructed veiw of the city .
As the sun goes down it reflects of the buildings each day different as the seasons progress .then the city lights up in all its glorious colours. If yiur lucky and there is no wind a perfict mirror image of the swan will delight you.
Thers a little boat ramp .dont park in it and be courteous of not parking in the bays for car and boat trailer especially in summer. The ranger will fine you"

Capturing the Iconic Perth Skyline
As the day progresses, the city remains a beautiful backdrop. However, the real magic for many happens at sunset. The sky can erupt in a symphony of colors, which then reflect off the glass facades of the city's skyscrapers. This creates a breathtaking scene that is frequently shared on social media. For the best photographic results, consider bringing a wide-angle lens to capture the full panorama and a tripod for stability, especially in low light conditions.
Beyond the visual spectacle, the jetty holds historical significance, with a ferry service once operating from here. This adds a layer of depth to the experience, reminding visitors of Perth's past as they admire its present skyline.
Exploring Sir James Mitchell Park
Many visitors, including families, find this park ideal for learning to ride a bike due to its relatively flat terrain and lack of heavy traffic. The park also provides ample green space for picnics, making it a perfect spot to spend an afternoon. You can relax on the grass, enjoy the river breeze, and still have the iconic city skyline in view.
Wildlife enthusiasts can also enjoy observing the local birdlife and other creatures that inhabit the riverbanks. The combination of recreational opportunities and scenic beauty makes Sir James Mitchell Park a valuable extension of the Coode Street Jetty experience.
