What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Ryde Aquatic Centre for its extensive family-friendly facilities, including a wave pool, rapid river, and surf simulator, making it a hit for kids' parties and general fun. The instructors for swimming lessons are frequently commended for their quality and kindness. However, some guests have reported instances of rude staff behaviour and poor communication regarding pool closures, leading to frustration.
"Went there for the kid's birthday party. Everything was excellent. The party hosts were super attentive and friendly. Joel was an amazing host, she was supervising our 4 year daughter all the time while being in the water. Thanks for making your job with so much love and dedication ❤️."
Ksenia Bychkova
"Guards were extremely rude not to just us but witnessed multiple families being yelled at for entering the leisure pool during opening hours.
Apparently it was being cleaned but there was literally nothing to indicate this besides when you heard multiple guards yell aggressively at kids to get out of the pool (with no explanation).
Only at the end of the cleaning they decided to put a sign up.
If the pool’s closed, put a sign up first. Don’t bait families into entering and then shout at them first."

"Lots of fun and activities for the whole family. Whilst our kiddies are going nuts in the water, or the yellow slide, or the endless river we are sitting in the hot tub taking it easy.
Water temperature in all pools is above 25C. On weekends and during school holidays they get the waves going every 30 minutes.
The kids love it! 🥰"
