What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Beehive Falls to be a unique and beautiful spot, especially after rain when the waterfall is at its most spectacular. The easy walk makes it accessible, though some find the main trail a bit unexciting. The surrounding nature, including mosses, ferns, and wildflowers, is highly praised.
"Very unique waterfall, haven't seen anything quite like it.
Recommend visiting when it has recently rained otherwise the walk isn't really worth it as other reviews have pointed out.
It had rained overnight so we had a beautiful view!
It's tall and thin, the spray has provided the perfect environment for mosses and ferns to grow in abundance around it. There's a tiny pool at the bottom and a small stream running from it.
It's a very boring and flatish walk to it, I ended up running to speed it up and make it interesting. From the falls there's a steeper hike which I didn't do, but would like to next time.
Very easy walk and hike, and a beautiful reward at the end of it. Visited mid October 2025 and had the beautiful flowers blooming!"
Karen
"Easy walk from the parking area, there was no water in the river but would be amazing when it rains. When you reach closer to the falls it get more green and enjoyable. We only has trickle of water but was great easy walk."

"Beautiful walk to the waterfall (2.8km return) there is the option for an extra walk but it is up steep rocks. Beautiful views"
